Suffolk Accountant Finalist in National Awards

Glemsford based accountancy practice Paul Donno & Co Ltd has been shortlisted for the prestigious Accountancy Age Awards which will take place at Battersea Park Arena on 18th November. Paul Donno, Managing Director of the company is one of six finalists vying for title of AAT Accounting Technician 2009.

The Accountancy Age Awards are one of the leading awards programmes in the accountancy sector and have been running for fifteen years. The awards acknowledge outstanding performance in business, practice and technology and are a celebration of the work that provides the bedrock for UK business. 

Over 1300 guests are expected at the Gala Dinner, which will take place in a magnificent marquee in Battersea Park Arena. The judging panel is impressive and includes a former editor of the Financial Times, the Chief Exec of BDO International and the chief information officer from the Serious Fraud Squad. 

Paul comments, “As if being shortlisted wasn’t enough the Association of Accounting Technicians has invited my wife, Jenni, and I to join them at the awards as their VIP guests! I am delighted to be a finalist; the Accountancy Age Awards are something of a big deal in our industry. Win or lose I think it will be a fantastic evening. My only regret is that I couldn’t have been shortlisted for the Young Accountant of the Year!”
