Professionals – Boost your presentation skills

Two local companies are staging a series of unique workshops to help professionals improve their presentation skills in business.

MindCraft and High 10 are joining forces to help accountants, solicitors and architects improve their communication skills in business.

The workshop is designed to help delegates in a range of different business environments from sales pitches to interviews and client relations.

In the half day workshop to be staged at The Malthouse Project on October 16 will offer delegates a chance to improve their communication skills and see how they come across to people with individual DVDs of their own presentation.

Former TV presenter Sarah Walker of MindCraft, said: “Architects, accountants and solicitors increasingly have to fight for business and often feel that while they know their business inside and out they lack confidence pitching their best ideas successfully.”

Executive coach Janice Levett, of High 10, added: “High 10 and MindCraft have a range of complementary strengths and strategies to offer professionals in business which make this a valuable opportunity.”

The workshop will offer tips and strategies on managing nerves in presentations, and the non-verbal elements of good communication including body language.

The course is due to run between 9.00 and 1pm and costs £85 per person + VAT.

The workshop can also be run in-house for individual firms who want to boost their staff’s presentation skills.
