New Functions Manager appointed at Chilford Hall

Cambridgeshire's largest dedicated banqueting and conference venue Chilford Hall Vineyard and Conference Centre has appointed Claire Walker as Functions Manager.

Claire, 38, from Haverhill in Suffolk, has over 10 years experience in the hospitality industry including being a member of cabin crew for KLM UK, and comes directly to Chilford Hall from her previous position as Events Co-ordinator at Chippenham Lodge Estate, near Newmarket.

Reporting to Chilford Hall's Operations Manager, Andy Kearsey, Claire will be responsible for managing the co-ordination of both small and large-scale events including wedding anniversary parties, dinner dances, banquets, charity events and exhibitions.

Claire says, "Offering a seamless experience and exceptional customer service is integral to the events industry and I am pleased to be working with such an enthusiastic and dedicated team at Chilford Hall"

Andy Kearsey, Operations Manager, says, "With a solid background in hospitality and events co-ordination, Claire will be a real asset to our team and we are delighted to welcome her to the company."
