Following the successful launch last year of their London Connected website, netXtra, based in Long Melford, will now be extending their relations with the Association of Independent Music (AIM) to design, develop and host their main organisation members' website.

Over the coming weeks, AIM members and other regular visitors to the site will notice, and benefit from, a fresh new website with a highly attractive design, that is brimming with a wealth of useful information for independent record labels and musicians across the UK. The new easier-to-navigate site will also offer members and other visitors a central repository of music industry advice and information and will seek to actively inspire visitors by encouraging greater site interaction, whilst effectively promoting the benefits of AIM membership.

Amongst its many features, the new website will also feature an enhanced member login, an events area taking online bookings, up-to-date news pages and a newly redesigned resources area. Here members and visitors can watch informative videos, listen to podcasts, read reports and advice sheets, view images and even get advice on starting an independent record label. Furthermore, the new site will also recognise and offer regular spotlights on its members, with a ‘Label of the Month’ feature.

Remi Harris, General Manager at AIM, said "netXtra has demonstrated to us that they were well qualified to deliver not only the specific site needed for the London Connected project, but also the redesign of our main AIM website."
