In a Class of Their Own

White Space won the pitch to design Northgate Sixth Form's 2012 prospectus and with four ex-students on the team they were eager to impress and avoid the dreaded red pen.
White Space faced strong competition from other agencies, but the client felt their concept really captured the essence of sixth form life. It's no coincidence that the winning design was created by studio apprentice, Charlotte White, herself a former Northgate student.
In fact, Charlotte's success has left the senior designers wondering whether the apprentice has become the master!
Charlotte commented: "Having only left Northgate Sixth Form about a year ago, I wanted to design a prospectus which reflected my experiences, something that would really appeal to prospective students in its tone and styling."
Head of Northgate Sixth Form, Trevor Elmy, added: "We were blown away by the White Space presentation, so we know we made the right choice. I remember our past students well, so had high hopes for this year's prospectus. I wasn't disappointed. It's great to see we've produced such creative and hardworking alumni!"
The quality of the finished product inspired Kesgrave High School to approach White Space to design the 2013 prospectus for both the High School and its Sixth Form. Kesgrave alumnus and PR account manager, Emma Noye, has been instrumental in helping the designers to understand the school and its approach to education.
The prospectus is still at the design stage, so will it be delivered in time for the new term?
Account director, Will Wright, admits: "I remember getting lines for being late when I was at school, so this is another deadline we definitely don't want to miss!"
