City banking and finance specialist joins Birketts LLP

Birketts LLP is delighted to announce the appointment of Steve Clark as a partner in its Banking and Finance Team, which recently featured in the top tier for banking and finance in East Anglia in the Legal 500 directory.
Steve has over 22 years’ experience in the banking and finance sector, with a huge depth of experience acting for banks, financial institutions, private equity/venture capital houses, funds and corporate borrowers across a broad range of sectors and through a variety of economic climates over the years. He specialises in acquisition/leveraged finance, real estate finance, refinancing/work-outs and general corporate lending.
Steve qualified as a solicitor in 1987, spending his first six qualified years in the banking and finance team at London firm Clifford Chance. Since then, he has worked as a banking partner at various firms including Addleshaw Goddard, Ashursts and Olswang before joining Birketts in September 2009.
