Business people sought for new positions available on charity’s board

Business people are being sought by St Elizabeth Hospice to become new members of its board of trustees.

Candidates would need senior level retail or business management experience or strategic planning experience in the health or social care sector. Trustees with knowledge of income generation and future direction for health and social care professionals are also sought.

 The board of trustees is made up of a diverse range of members of the community who have a commitment to moving the work of the Hospice forward whilst ensuring the charity’s future stability. The role demands a commitment of two days a month and although It is an unpaid role, expenses are available.

St Elizabeth Hospice, an independent charity based in Ipswich, provides specialist services for people in East Suffolk who have an illness from which they will not recover and costs £5.9 million a year to run.
