Sing for World Peace! World Sound Healing Day

01 Feb 2011

Monday 14th February is not only Valentine’s Day, it is World Sound Healing Day. This event is now in its ninth year, and it is growing every year.

This year, local therapist, Hilary Lepine, is inviting everyone who cares about world peace to come along and sound an “AH” for five minutes at 12 noon on that day.

The place to be is the main shopping precinct in Lowestoft, outside the Britten Centre, where she and her friend and colleague, local artist and author Michael Vincent, will be using their voices to send love and light to our beautiful planet and it’s inhabitants.

This is a world-wide event, and across the globe, on Valentine’s Day, thousands of people will be sounding or “toning”, as this type of singing is called, at organised events, or in their own homes, places of work, with friends.

“Along with many others who have become awake and aware, we are looking to raise individual consciousness, and to use sound, imbued with the energies of intention, light and love, to help spread harmony, balance and peace to the world. With these energies, sound has the power to effect and enhance the consciousness of the whole planet”, says Hilary.

Send a sonic valentine!

“Sound itself is very healing, due to it’s vibrational frequency, so if you come along and tone with us, not only will your voice make a difference, you will feel better as well! And what better day to send out love and healing than Valentine’s Day! So do please join us, even if you just stop off for five minutes while shopping!

And if you can’t be there, what do you do? Think of something that brings you joy and love – a partner, child, pet, special occasion…… then just sound (tone) an “AH” with intention of sending love and harmony”.

Hilary is a sound healer and Reiki healer. For more information go to www.tswalu.co.uk or phone 01502 564236 or 07725 514364
