FunDancing - Wiggles and Giggles for Charity

18 Oct 2011
Any Excuse for dressing up!
Dressing in Green or White. The class members of FunDancing held 4 coffee (tea) Dance Mornings for MacMillan. After a ‘Strictly’ Style wiggling and giggling dance exercise class, we all enjoyed home made cakes and coffee, raffles and bring ‘n buy and raised £325.36!
The next event is but a few days away on Saturday 22nd October 2011 at Suffolk One, Scrivener Drive, Ipswich and is aptly named a Wiggle-a-Thon. The event, that is open to the public, will consist of six 45 minute ‘Strictly’ Style Latin American dance sessions, the first starting at 10am.
Janet says “We are raising money for EACH (East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices). Of course we will be dressing in purple or orange (or whatever takes your fancy). I will be instructing all 6 sessions dressed as a ‘Pumpkin Fairy!” complete with top hat with orange feather and wings, of course!” for details about the event please go to www.wiggle-a-thon.co.uk

About FunDancing
FunDancing is owned by Janet Drake a 54 year old who was trained at Elmhurst Ballet School and has returned to dancing to fulfil her childhood dream of owning her own dance schools. Janet’s philosophy is that anyone can dance regardless of having two left feet and no sense of rhythm, dance is arguably the best form of exercise one can do and dance is all about having fun. FunDancing currently holds morning and evening ‘Strictly’ style Latin American Dance exercise classes in East Bergholt, Brantham, Lavenham, Hadleigh, Capel St Mary and Stratford St Mary.
