Choose Suffolk Bio Science Sector Brunch

There is still time to register for Choose Suffolk’s sector brunch entitled ‘An Evolving Sector for Suffolk’. Part of the Enterprise Engagement Programme the event will take place on Wednesday 16th February 2011 from 10.00am to 1.00pm at Animal Health Trust, Lanwades Park, Kentford, Newmarket, CB8 7UU. The programme for the day will include an exclusive behind the scenes tour of the Animal Health Trust facility followed by short case-study presentations.
- Belinda Clark from One Nucleus will present on key issues and recent developments in the bioscience sector.
- Professor Noble from UCS will be covering developments in stem cell research at UCS, the work of his department and its significance.
- Andrew Waller, Head of Bacteriology at Animal Health Trust.
- John Sharp at John Sharp Nutrition will deliver presentations on animal health and veterinary care.
- Marcus Head from Rossdales
The session will appeal to individuals across the bio-technology and life sciences sector. From those involved in pharmaceutical manufacturing to bioscience research companies and healthcare facilities that are developing innovative services.
We will finish with lunch and an opportunity for you to network with your peers, sharing in each others experiences and celebrating the success of this dynamic emerging sector in Suffolk.
