Flood & Water Management from Amazi
07 May 2010
The new Flood and Water Management Act, and this summer’s forthcoming changes to the Environment Agency internal policy on flood risk, are really keeping us busy at Amazi. These are two items that will, over time, have significant impact upon assessing flooding and responsibilities for surface water drainage.
At Amazi we prepare Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs) and have recently provided other specialist services, including expert flood risk evidence at a planning appeal and sustainable drainage designs.
As the region’s only civil engineering company dedicated to flood and water management we are totally immersed in applying our expertise appropriately and we would be really pleased to hear from any EEP members that wish to collaborate with us – please see our website www.amazi.co.uk, or contact me on the details below.
