Paint the World Ltd is selling micro shares through the UK crowd funding site www.crowdcube.com

Says Paint the World MD Mike Wall, “More and more businesses are finding it difficult to obtain funding from banks, especially ethical companies like ours.  When looking for alternatives, we found crowdcube.com.  Just like Dragons' Den, the site allows businesses to pitch an original idea, but this time to thousands of users.  Investors can put in as little as £10, and our projected returns are 437% over the first four years."

Paint the World Ltd are developing a site called goomagooma.com, which will use amateur and celebrity paintings and doodles to cover a virtual globe with art.  Users will pay to upload their pictures, and this money will be used to buy Malaria nets for Sub-Saharan Africa.

Asked if a ten pound investment will really make a difference, Mike says, “We need investors with vision to get involved, and we hope that lots of small investors will join us.  Our small investors are not only raising the money to build the software, but as a group will be involved in spreading the word, and guaranteeing the sites success.”

“Profits only come from the revenues from Adverts on the site, even then 80% are ploughed back into improvement and development.  We aim to use people power to make a huge difference to the lives of parents and children in Sub-Saharan Africa.”

“Malaria currently kills 1 million people a year, almost 90% of whom are children under 5.  Can you imagine knowing you were involved in saving thousands of children’s lives, just by investing a tenner?”

“Nothing like this exists currently, and investors will own a part share in a site which has millions of visitors, not just this year, but way into the future.  By making an investment in us, people will be saving thousands of lives each year, and it all starts here, in Ipswich.”

You can invest in Paint the World Ltd via www.crowdcube.com and contact Paint the World direct if you feel you can help in any other way, via their website www.goomagooma.com.
