Sponsors line up for Suffolk Business Exhibition 2010

02 Feb 2010

Unprecedented numbers of sponsors and supporters are lining up for the 2010 Suffolk Business Exhibition, which takes place on 28th April at Trinity Park Conference Centre.

The organisers, Ipswich & Suffolk Small Business Association (ISSBA) and Suffolk Chamber of Commerce, say that they have been delighted with the interest in this year’s event.

John Dugmore, Chief Executive of Suffolk Chamber said, ''Following a successful exhibition in 2009, with record attendances and a waiting list for stands, our two local organisations are, for the second year, pooling resources and coming together to showcase the entrepreneurial talent of the Suffolk Business Community."

Archant, publishers of the EADT and Suffolk Business magazine, and BBC Suffolk are the 2010 media partners. Ipswich Borough Council and Suffolk County Council have thrown their weight behind the event. Human resources consultants Picasso HR, solicitors Jackaman, Smith & Mulley, accountants Scrutton Bland and business advisers Business Link, are also sponsoring the event.

Kim Brown, Chair of ISSBA, said that interest from sponsors, supporters and exhibitors was at an all time high.

“We look to stage an event that gets better year by year for the business community. To achieve that, we need to attract sponsorship. It says a lot about this exhibition that interest is growing year on year. We are meeting with more potential sponsors in the next week or two,” she said.

Tim Mulley, partner at Scrutton Bland, who are one of the major sponsors of the event said, “We’ve been involved with the Chamber of Commerce and ISSBA for many years now, and we are very well aware of the business benefits that we derive from our membership.

“This is the one big business exhibition in Suffolk. It has an excellent track record of attracting not only visitors, but a huge variety of businesses large and small to exhibit. Not only do we regard it as essential to be involved, but also to signal our ongoing commitment to the growth of the business community in Suffolk and to the continuing success of the event, ISSBA and the Chamber of Commerce.”

“We’re delighted to announce too that BBC Suffolk’s Stephen Foster will be broadcasting his Drive Time programme direct from the exhibition,” she added.

Bookings for the Suffolk Business Exhibition can be made via the events' section on this website and www.issba.co.uk

Whilst the exhibition is open to all, standholders need to be members of either ISSBA or Suffolk Chamber of Commerce.
