Keep fit by entering Suffolk Chamber's Squash League now!

04 Jan 2012

In 2012 Suffolk Chamber’s theme for the year is “Health in the Workplace”.  Working closely with Healthy Ambitions Suffolk the Chamber aims to make Suffolk the healthiest county.  The health of company employees has a direct impact on productivity, attendance and most importantly your bottom line.  Therefore, Suffolk Chamber is launching a squash league to improve both the health and fitness of your employees.

Who can enter?

The league is open to all Chamber members and is an excellent opportunity for an unusual networking opportunity so please forward this to all your colleagues.  The aim is to create at least two leagues, depending on interest, one for Beginners and one for Experienced players.  A prize of a Wii Console will be awarded to the winner of the Experienced players league.

If anyone would like to donate a prize for the Beginners' league please feel free to contact david@suffolkchamber.co.uk.

How the league works?

To keep it simple and flexible you will be responsible for arranging your own games and paying the court fees (if applicable).  When the league starts you will be sent your fellow players’ emails and contact numbers so that you can arrange your own games at a place and time that is mutually suitable.  When the games are completed, one of the players will email the result to david@suffolkchamber.co.uk and he will collate them on a league table.

How to enter

If you would like to enter the league please send an email to david@suffolkchamber.co.uk including whether you would like to enter the Beginners' or Experienced league along with your contact telephone number and email (this is for circulation to your fellow players).  If you would like to participate in this league entries need to be in by 20th January 2012.

Disclaimer

Squash is a high intensity sport and should be approached with caution.  If you are in any doubt of your physical condition please consult your doctor before participating.
