Ipswich Town Centre Draft Master Plan Consultation in the Buttermarket Shopping Centre

Ipswich Town Centre Draft Master Plan Consultation in the Buttermarket Shopping Centre

01 Dec 2011

A new consultation exercise on Ipswich’s draft Town Centre Master Plan takes place in the Buttermarket Shopping Centre between Monday 5th and Saturday 10th December (11.30am to 2.30pm).

Borough Council staff will be on hand to discuss the plan, which provides a view of what Ipswich Borough Council and its partners see as the best way to improve the town centre, and to encourage people to have their say.  Earlier this month, the Council used a shop in Tower Ramparts to consult with shoppers, and staff were encouraged by the response.

The Council's 15-year plan is open for consultation until 23rd December.

The aim is to enhance the town centre, delivering a programme of regeneration and renewal that builds on the aspirations to be a regional centre for shopping and culture.

You can also have your say online. Please go to www.ipswich.gov.uk/consultations
