Invitation to 'Ipswich Fighting Back Breakfast Seminar'

Invitation to 'Ipswich Fighting Back Breakfast Seminar'

21 May 2009

I am delighted to invite you to the “Ipswich Fighting Back Seminar” on Tuesday 16th June at the IP-City Centre starting 7.30am for 8.00am and will close at 9.30am.

Ipswich Borough Council, Suffolk Chamber of Commerce and the Evening Star are joining forces for the breakfast time event.  Ipswich is fighting hard in the current economic climate with positive initiatives.  Ipswich has a skilled workforce, a new University and excellent transport links.

The strong support provided by the Evening Star has led to a successful campaign that has even reached Downing Street.  Suffolk Chamber of Commerce is providing a powerful voice to champion Ipswich’s cause.

Ipswich, one of the fastest growing urban centres, has a lot going for it and we are doing all we can to attract more investment.  We can see evidence of an economic fight-back.

We shall have 10 short presentations by local business representatives speaking about why they are investing in Ipswich and what they plan to achieve.

We look forward to your attendance at this important seminar.  Could you please confirm your attendance by RSVP to Vijay Sundram, Principal Economic Development Officer by email vijay.sundram@ipswich.gov.uk

This seminar will detail real action and will not be just a talking shop.

Yours faithfully

James Hehir
Chief Executive - Ipswich Borough Council
