The Business and Employment Team is based at the firm’s Great Yarmouth office, although appointments can be made to see clients elsewhere.
The Department consists of two Partners, Julian Gibbons who provides advice in Commercial matters and Employment Law as well as doing some Civil Litigation work, and Annette Collen who is a Commercial Property specialist. Matthew Breeze, the FILEX in the team, also specialises in Commercial Property work. Whilst Annette focuses on the larger, mainly property based transactions, Matthew tends to specialise in dealing with local business acquisitions and disposals of all types.
Julian Gibbons is also a Notary Public and offers Notarial services across the firm.
The team deals with a broad range of businesses – large and small, and has national and local clients. Our approach to clients is friendly and efficient. The client will be made to feel welcome but also confident that his or her legal affairs will be dealt with in a businesslike and competent manner. The practice has a large private-client base developed by the Partners over many years. However, in recent years the Commercial and Litigation aspects of the practice have been developed, together with Family Law to give a broader based and more balanced approach to the way in which legal services are provided to the Community.
The strategy of the practice has been to place its operations in a variety of offices so as to best serve the client. We have offices at Lowestoft, Beccles, Gorleston, Great Yarmouth and Halesworth.
