Speed Networking Success

Speed Networking Success

10 Mar 2011

Haverhill Chamber of Commerce brought speed networking to the town last month when 30 businesses met during a fast and furious exchange of business cards at Haverhill Golf Club last night (9 March).

Participants had 60 seconds to promote their business and exchange information with the person sitting opposite them, before moving along to the next contact. The event on Wednesday 9 March attracted businesses from the town and across Suffolk. Another event is being planned.

New Chamber member Rob McCarthy, of Printing.com, said: “I really enjoyed the speed networking night, it’s great to do something very different to make contacts and it also makes you think about your unique sales proposition and how to get across to prospective clients what you do and how you can help them.”
