Castle Manor Students Cook Up A Treat for Chamber Event

Catering students from Castle Manor Business and Enterprise College's Bistro supplied the culinary delights at Haverhill Chamber of Commerce's networking evening at the Days Inn last night (Monday 27 September).
The students prepared the food in their lesson and then the finish touches were made by catering student Charlie Overington, 14. Charlie, who wants to run his own restaurant, especially enjoyed making the strawberry gateau which members certainly enjoyed eating!
Students are ready to build on the success of the Bistro and offering catering for other corporate functions to enable the town's Young Chamber, which has members from both Castle Manor and Samuel Ward Arts & Technology College, to become self funding.
