Sturmer Charity Golf Tournament – Haverhill Chamber of Commerce Team

Anyone for golf? We are putting together a Haverhill Chamber of Commerce team to enter the Sturmer Charity Golf Tournament on Friday 24 September at Haverhill Golf Club.

Organised by Chamber member Ann Aken, from Specialized Print, the day promises terrific golf, friendly competition, great food, beverages and prizes. The charity golf tournament will be played over 18 holes with the 2 best Stableford scores counting on each hole. Teams comprise four players. This year the event has a formal listing in the golf clubs fixture list and the full support & assistance of the golf club captains & committee members.

Entry to the tournament is £40 which includes a bacon buttie on arrival and a two course evening meal. There is a discounted fee for Haverhill Golf Club Members of £25. 

The competition is open to every level of golfer and offers an invigorating day of business networking, socialising and sporting fun. Proceeds from this tournament will contribute towards the running & maintenance costs of the Sturmer Village Hall. The Hall is a registered charity, run by a small voluntary committee, and completely self-funded. Your involvement in this great day will ensure that this essential community facility can continue to operate, and maintain the facilities.

Chamber member Justin Friend of Amicus Financial Solutions Ltd will captain the Haverhill Chamber of Commerce team.
