'Speak Up' with Patricia Peters, President of the Lowestoft East Point Rotary Club

“When I was first asked to speak in public, my knees, knocked, my mouth went dry, I felt ill and my voice quaked. Sounds familiar? Now I enjoy having the opportunity to talk to people about things which I know and enjoy. I love speaking and working with groups, so I am looking forward to sharing some of my experiences with you as well as learning how you would like to ‘speak up’ in public."

Pat has worked with children with Special Educational Needs. She has been a trainer in counselling , safe guarding children and communication skills. Her first novel ‘Confessions of a Dutch Reading Club' was published in March 2011. She is the first female President of Lowestoft East Point Rotary Club and a volunteer helper at Waveney Sailability. She has lived in Lowestoft for 8 years.
