An invitation to Suffolk Chamber Members to participate in a Grand Charity Auction for Help for Heroes.
On Friday the 23rd July, as part of the Salute for Heroes at Glemham Hall we will be holding a Grand Charity Auction and fund raising evening. This prestigious event is by kind permission of Major and Mrs Phillip Hope-Cobbold. There is no charge for the event, but guests will be expected to participate generously to the fund raising.
The evening will begin with a ceremony of beating the retreat by the Royal British Legion Corps of Drums (Long Melford) and the Bugles from the Rifles Band and Bugles at 19:00 Hours.
A Champagne reception will follow in the Gardens of Glemham Hall with the opportunity to meet some of our special guests.
At 20:00 Hours a light supper will be served with a choice of fine wines served in our beautiful garden marquee.
There will be envelope tombola with a range of wonderful prizes donated by many of Suffolk’s leading businesses and at 21:00 the Auction will begin.
We will have a small number of amazing lots which will be of great interest and many will be experiences which under normal circumstances simply cannot be purchased. These lots have been exclusively donated to raise money for Help for Heroes.
The evening will be filled with some original experiences and we will hear from serving soldiers about their tours of duty during the conflict in Afghanistan.
Drinks will be available from the Bar
Carriages at 23:00
Dress : Black Tie or Mess Dress (Decorations may be worn)
