ICKWORTH HOUSE
12/07/2010
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED.
Ickworth House is an historic Grade I listed building created in 1795 by the 4th Earl of Bristol. Nestling in 1,800 acres of spectacular gardens and wooded parkland designed in part by 'Capability' Brown, it provides a beautiful setting for our event.
The West Wing of the house remained an unfinished shell until 2005 when floors were put in and the space developed to provide stylish and contemporary facilities for fine dining and corporate functions.
SBW is proud to sponsor the tour and the fee will be donated to the Ickworth Lives Appeal. SBW has been established for nearly 20 years. Formed by pioneering lady and business woman, Beatrice Wilkinson, SBW has been run by a dedicated group of volunteers. This is our last event before SBW is affiliated with Suffolk Chamber of Commerce. This will allow SBW to grow & widen its membership, and hold events that will reach many parts of the county.
