C2CN Network Project Manager

Suffolk County Council

'Cradle to Cradle’ (C2C) is a principle based framework that looks to guide us towards a future powered by truly renewable energy (current solar income) in which materials are constantly reused in closed loops and social, economic and environmental considerations have become truly inter-dependant. It can be applied to industry as an innovative business model in which waste can be minimised, raw materials utilisation reduced and higher quality products produced. Suffolk County Council will talk about their involvement in the ‘Cradle to Cradle Network’ (a project looking at the applicability of the C2C concept and funded primarily by the European Regional Development Fund) including the potential plans to encourage and enable companies to consider how to apply C2C here in the East of England.
