IT specialists, CPW Computing; solicitors, Gotelee & Goldsmith, and waste disposal and recycling specialists, RDC, are putting on a free seminar for local businesses, providing them with the most up to date information about their IT issues.
It is being held at the Marriage Hall, at Gotelee & Goldsmith, Elm Street, Ipswich, from 8 am to 10.30 am on 15th September.
Gary Griffiths of RDC is a renowned expert in recycling and amongst the government specialist advisers on the subject. He will talk about the best ways to dispose of electronic waste, legal implications and how redundant equipment is finding its way into a wide range of new products including shower trays!
Victoria Judge and Andrew West of Gotelee & Goldsmith will talk about software licensing issues, the legal implications of disposal of redundant equipment and how to avoid infringing data protection legislation by following correct procedures.
Lastly, Christine Lock of CPW Computing will provide an overview of the new Microsoft Office 2010 products and the benefits and features they provide.
