- The luxury sector has a high environmental footprint with nearly a million tonnes of textiles are thrown away each year
- Over half of waste produced can be recycled
- There is a high demand for sustainable luxury to prevent such waste
- Bio-materials now offer new design consideration
- Industry & design led research can help implement new local and international government regulations to reduce the amount of waste in this sector
This event will:
