This year's Wooden Spoon Golf Day in Suffolk will take place on
Wednesday 9th September 2009 at Ipswich Golf Club (Purdis Heath)
We invite you to support Wooden Spoon at our third Golf Day as we seek to raise money to help disadvantaged children and young people in Suffolk.
The golf competition is open to Ladies and Gentlemen, off full handicap (max 28 Men 36 Ladies), and will be played in teams of FOUR people.
Please note that it is a team Stableford competition with the best two scores per hole to count.
PLEASE NOTE: The winners will be invited to compete in the Regional Golf Final at the Marriott St. Pierre, Chepstow on Friday 18th September 2009.
There will be prizes for nearest the pin, longest drive, and bet that you can 'land and stay on the green.'
Our programme for the day will be as follows:-
- Coffee and bacon butties available from 1130.
- Tee off times from 1230 to 1400.
- Cold refreshments available on the course.
- Dinner at around 1930. Presentation of prizes, raffle and auction.
- After Dinner Speaker.
- Cost is £75 per player. Dinner only is available at £30 per person.
