Hadleigh Chamber of Commerce - AGM & Credit Crunch Review
19/11/2008
Hadleigh Chamber of Commerce would like to extend an invitation to their AGM to all Suffolk Chamber members.Priory Hall, Benton Street, Hadleigh, IP7 5HZ
Wednesday 19th November at 6.00pm
Due to the unusual economic circumstances that exist at the moment, the AGM will include an opportunity to ask financial and business professionals questions about the credit crunch. The turmoil has affected most of us in one way or another and if you are wondering:
Where exactly did it all start and when will it end? Where have the billions of pounds gone and where is the government getting the money from? What impact will this crisis have on me, my business, my savings and investments? What can I do to protect myself and my business?
Then, this will be a unique opportunity to ask the experts your questions directly. The high profile panel will be chaired by Anthony Hilton, financial editor of the Evening Standard and will include John Dugmore (Chief Executive of the Suffolk Chamber of Commerce), Jon Wagstaffe ( Credit Suisse Investments) and James Walter ( Walter Wright Accountants).
John Dugmore can share information on the impact on businesses and the local economy. Jon Wagstaffe is knowledgeable on banking and investments and James Walter has experience in advising on financial risk within family businesses.
The Meeting will be held at Priory Hall, Benton Street, Hadleigh, IP7 5HZ on the 19th November at 6.00pm. The meeting is expected to finish at 7.30pm and free drinks and a light bite will be served at this time.
