Copleston Young Chamber hosted their first ever breakfast meeting on 11th February at the High School itself.
The aim was to build links with local businesses and to promote their many enterprising ideas and activities, this was enthusiastically received by over 50 delegates; businesses and students combined.
Speakers included:
Shaun Common – Headteacher, Copleston High School
Craig Macartney – Head of Year 10: Exciting new initiatives in education and the need for business involvement.
Lina Hogg – Picasso HR: The importance of a close working relationship between business and education.
Miles Vartan – Health & Safety Consultant: Myth busting – overcoming the barriers to working with young people.
