Simon Ash - Chief Constable of Suffolk
Simon began his career with Kent County Constabulary in 1982. He joined Suffolk Police in June 2007 from Hertfordshire Constabulary.
Colin Spence - Vice Chair of the Suffolk Police Authority
The Chief Constable and Vice Chair spoke about the tough decisions that need to be taken prior to setting the budget for 2010/11, including service priorities, the level of council tax increase and the problems looking further forward. They wanted to know your views on what those priorities should be and used the inter-active voting equipment to aid this process and test feelings on confidence in the police.
Delegates were given a chance to air their views on this and any other issues of concern that link to policing, including the impact of the recession.
