The University of Suffolk Cost of Living Campaign

The University of Suffolk and the Students’ Union is committed to supporting students and staff with the cost of living and is implementing several measures to help. These practical measures are designed to support students over the winter months and help maintain wellbeing during key study periods.

East Suffolk Council: Ease the Squeeze

East Suffolk Council is co-ordinating a programme of advice and support to help people in East Suffolk with the rising cost of living. These pages provide information on the services and support available, including help with accessing support, as well as useful tips and advice.

Community Action Suffolk

Community Action Suffolk have compiled a list of support, advice and funding for the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprises (VCSE) sector.

Suffolk Libraries

Be Kind in Kind cost of living campaign. All 45 Suffolk libraries are acting as warm spaces with many also offering free hot drinks and kindness racks for donated clothes. Libraries also offer free wi-fi and computer access and everything Suffolk Libraries offers is either free or very low cost so a visit to the library can make a big difference to everyone’s pockets.

Suffolk Mind

Suffolk Mind is an independent charity whose mission is to make the county the best place in the world for talking about and taking care of mental health. To meet that mission, they provide a range of wellbeing services, courses and resources for individuals, schools, workplaces and community groups.

Suffolk Mind works across the mental health continuum, from wellbeing to ‘severe and enduring’ mental ill-health, providing support & information for everyone.

The Wellbeing Service

The Wellbeing Service offer workplaces in Suffolk the chance to book a Coping with Financial Stress workshop, exclusively for groups of 10 or more people, as part of their wellbeing in the workplace support.
